Choosing a Preschool

There are nine licensed pre schools in Dracut and many more in the Merrimack Valley. How do you choose the one that is best for your child? The place to start is with your friends and relatives who have had a pre school experience. About half of our students are referrals from satisfied parents. If this process is not successful it is time to get on the phone.

In New Hampshire you can call Family Works, a nonprofit referral service, and talk to a councilor (800-264-7189). Most schools are listed in the Yellow Pages. Some employers have a referral list in their Human Resources Department.
