SUMMER PROGRAMS
Evergreen Montessori House Summer Program

For 2 years 9 months to 6 years of age
Our language program emphasizes creative thinking and writing. We encourage your child to express himself / herself easily. It involves Arts and Crafts to combine fun with learning. Your child’s thinking process will be enhanced as well his/her creative ability.

In our regular school year program we do Creative Writing with less emphasis. It is a simple process as the child draws a picture his/her thoughts are in it. Here we intend to bring that out. We ask the child what his or her picture is about. Every picture has a story to tell. As he or she tells us the story we help them put it to paper. For the older kids it is a spontaneous activity. As the picture takes a shape it builds your child's confidence in their self-expression. It provokes independent thought, vocabulary and formation of sentences.

Our Science Program stresses Nature in all its wonderment. It is a hands on science project detailing on plant life and growth. Simple scientific experiments will be conducted. For animal life we will present the animal life cycle - from egg to incubation to birth. The whole process enthralls our students.

Our Our Math Program will teach adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.

Evergreen Montessori House Summer Program for School Age children

Our language program will be comprehensive. This begins with the formation of sentences, grammar, paragraph writing and essays.

Creative Writing is a part of the curriculum.

Hands on Science and Math will be aimed towards grade level.

For the school age children our Summer Program is aimed at having fun in the process of getting ready to meet the challenges of the next grade.

Computer programs will be age appropriate learning and fun to us.
